HOW TO BEGIN

At Daati’s Pride school, we achieve excellence together by all students receiving the support they need to meaningfully belong to their school and wider community, feel valued for their contributions, engage purposefully in learning and experience academic, cultural, social and emotional success in a common learning environment. We welcome children with a range of learning preferences. Our Staff are committed to educating all students in a common learning environment with similar-aged peers.  At Daati’s Pride school, diversity is made visible as a strength, respectful relationships are continually enhanced and all children fully participate in learning through adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet the diverse range of learners reflected in wider society.

Please share full details of any special educational needs, individual education plans (IEPs) and any Educational Psychologist, Pediatric, or other specialist reports (e.g., Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy) if completed. Sharing educational history with us prior to a place being offered is essential so that staff can ensure an appropriate assessment of educational need, educational plan and resourcing is in place. Admission is not conditional on the submission of a medical diagnosis and we have effective transition processes in place for all children.

Entrance Exam

Daati’s Pride School prides itself on an admission policy that does not discriminate against any child or family.  We welcome children with a wide range of learning preferences.

We aim to interview every child and their parents prior to entry, and each child must take an age related placement test to ensure that the he or she is prepared for the high quality education on offer at our school.

Offer of a place is not solely on entrance test alone and parents should provide the most recent copy of their child’s school report when submitting an application form.

Early registration is advised to avoid being on the waiting list. To this end it is advised that registration takes place two terms preceeding when you want your child to resume. The school community continues to grow leaving limited spaces for new entrants.

Admission is open to babies and pupils all year round depending on availability of space and exceptions to time of entry for Junior school students.

Please note that evidence of payment of fees is to be tendered after admission has been duly offered.
